A woman in Hangzhou city located in Zhejiang province reportedly had a dispute with her boyfriend after seeing evidence on his phone of him cheating on her with another lover.
The woman was so furious she threw a cleaver found in her kitchen towards the man, missing him and flying out the window from her high-rise apartment.
Lucky for the woman the knife did not harm anyone, although the knife had landed on a $247,000 Land Rover parked below.
The owner of the car told reporters that the repair cost was estimated at a jaw dropping 130,000 yuan ($18,000USD).
The woman has been detained for endangering public safety.
